Intelligent Agri-engineering

Agri-bio, a form of bioengineering (biotechnology) relating to agricultural industries, is important for solving the various challenges of SGDs involving food, health, and environment. It is only limited by the boundaries of conventional academic disciplines. Building on the university’s successes in bioengineering research and international exchange, we promote research and education in the field of “intelligent agricultural engineering” that genuinely contributes to SDGs, through cross-fertilization with the intelligence of the Graduate School of Engineering in chemistry, physics, mechanics, materials, electronic information, and environment, and consideration of ethical, legal and social issues (ELSI). We also collaborate with other universities and research institutions.
